I'm really getting around, but the Lautertal is one of the scenic gems that are second to none. And that almost right outside the door! With the road bike you get the magic of the Lautertal only superficially / visually. It is recommended to complete the Lautertal cycle path with the touring bike and to bring along time, ideally a whole weekend: start in Kohlstetten, Overnight height Hayingen, then on to the mouth of the Lauter and to Ulm.
