The castle belongs to the Treuen manor and was built in the 16th century. After a long period of decay, it was auctioned by the Treuen Castle Association in 2003 and renovated with great dedication. Since then it has been used for celebrations and events, e.g. the castle festival with historical battles.

Half-timbered castle. Not accessible inside, only during events. The cellar can be rented for celebrations and is very cozy.
