The bridge is named after the town of Gern, part of Neuhausen. It is an iron and reinforced concrete arch bridge with a total length of 29 m. Its width is 10 m and the longest span in the middle is 16 m. From the bridge you have a great view over the canal towards Nymphenburg Castle.

The Gerner Bridge is a bridge over the Nymphenburg Canal from which you have a great view of the Hubertusbrunnen and the Nymphenburg Palace. Many joggers and walkers are bustling here. Simply beautiful there.
