Location: Altastenberg, Hochsauerlandkreis, Arnsberg District, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
This short descent is the only way for bikers to leave the Kahler Asten heading east. After about 500 meters with 100 meters of altitude, the trail ends at the weekends busy road. Here you have many options: Right it goes to Neuastenberg and Langewiese or after crossing the road left down to the Nuhnetal, straight on the Astenweg to Züschen.

If you are already up there you should definitely take this trail with you it is great to ride but be careful there are also people who try it uphill

Nice uphill too. with a lot of momentum you can get over the edge in the lower part

A very steep stretch down, partly washed out by the rain and lots of roots and slate lying there. So be careful when driving down, there is also a road at the end
