View of Lake Iseo from the climb to Colli di San Fermo

The climb to Col di Caf da Tavernole and then from Vigolo represents a valid alternative to the more classic climb to S.Fermo da Villongo. Longer and also a little more difficult with double-digit stretches of climb, however in addition to being lonely and in a particular alpine environment, it has practically no traffic as it is very narrow at different points (it barely thinks of a car). Today it is practically all asphalted, except for short stretches, so it can also be done with racing bikes.

Beautiful and tough climb from Vigolo to the Colli di San Fermo. The slope is never constant and in some sections it becomes really demanding. Asphalted mountain road with some sectors in dirt. Feasible also in gravel and also on road bikes if you don't make jocks. Wonderful views between the Bergamo valleys and Lake Iseo. Super recommended.
