It is in the center of the 80-strong community of Maltis and was built in the 16th century. The hall church is furnished in a rural style. The oldest tombstone of the community from 1398 by Johannes von Maltitz is in the church. It has a Poppe organ as well as carved angel and Christ figures on the pulpit and hand-painted calligraphically framed Bible verses in the parapet areas of the gallery.

Cycling

The village church from the 16th century is equipped with farming equipment. The oldest tombstone in the circle is in it. It is the tombstone of Johannes v. Maltitz, who died in 1398.

The parish also has a Poppe organ in its church, carved angel and Christ figures on the pulpit, hand-painted calligraphically framed Biblical sayings in the parapet fields of the gallery.

All of these cultural and historical objects bear witness to the past and history of the village church. Until the Reformation, Maltis himself had a pastor. Now they are parish in Saara.
