Tips
A flash flood caused by a glacier that had melted away caused the old access route to the summit to be washed away. As a result, the bridge is now only used as a scenic viewpoint and a small showering area and no longer serves as a bridge. However, the new path up is still beautiful and worthwhile.

The bridge seems to be built only to contemplate the waterfall. It is worth the short climb from the Simmen Falls to Barbarabrücke. With a good camera, I could have taken nicer pictures (unfortunately only the phone was there).
