If you would like to visit Trakai on your bikes, it is good solution to get from Vilnius to Senieji Trakai on train, and start your ride to Trakai from there.The distance is only 5 km, and there is good bicycle path. When you reach traffic ring near gas station, turn left, this is the only short ant safe way by bikes.
