The sacred origin of the place comes from the presence of a source, near which Druidism created a ceremony in Beltane, in order to celebrate fertility. In the Middle Ages, Christianity assimilated this cult and established there that of Our Lady of Bethlehem. The sculptures on the west bay, however, directly refer to the Druidic cult. During the restoration of the building in the 90s, Jean Louis Boistel adopted the codes of mythology, Christianity but also of contemporary times. We then find as a sculpture the Xenomorph from the films Alien, Goldorak, Gremlins and other astonishing figures.
