The Vineta on the Störmthaler See is an art object reminiscent of the church of Magdeborn, which was dredged by lignite mining.
On the approximately 300 square meters, since 2011 floating on the lake, held by 4 anchors concrete pontoon, there is a branch office of the registry office of Großpösna. In addition, in the building, which is not a consecrated church, concerts and other events take place. It is also rentable for private events.

The place that is probably most associated with Lake Störmthal is the VINETA on the lake, which is why this attraction is actually a must for every visitor to the lake. It is a floating building (at 15 m it is actually the highest floating building on a German lake!) that is intended to commemorate the places that had to give way to open-cast brown coal mining. The "floating church" is a very special location where you can even get married.
