At the beginning of the 1960s, three blocks of flats were built in the middle of the forest (a fourth was added later). The settlement got the name of the Soviet cosmonaut Adrijan Nikolajew. Probably because he was circling the earth with Wostock III during part of the construction period. Most likely because of the relationship to the object located next door: an anti-aircraft missile position of the NVA (NVA - FRA 4322 Barth). Most blocks are empty and look very dilapidated. The last block still seems to be inhabited.

A local resident was so nice and accompanied me. "Unfortunately" the construction project does not go any further. Investors are bankrupt. The basement was converted into living space. I couldn't find out whether it would be rental apartments/ETW or FW.
It's a pity that no memorial museum including a guided tour was made of it here.lostplacewunderland.wordpress.com/2020/02/08/nva-fra-4322-barth
