Erected in 1848 on the foundations of a previous building from 1716. The Pussian state had owned the castle since 1835 and used it as a country home. After the war, refugees were accommodated here, from 1952 to 1964 it served as a vocational school and in parts also as a primary school until 1968. From 1900 to 2001 it was owned by the State of Brandenburg and was sold. It has been privately owned since then.
