Very, very nice figure

In memory of the German-Swedish composer Joseph Martin Kraus, who grew up in Buchen, a fountain adorns the tree-lined square. The fountain was donated by a descendant of the Kraus family.Water bubbles with cheerful sounds from the bronze figure's transverse flute into a brick basin. Behind it, as part of the city's redevelopment, a farmstead built onto the city wall was converted into pretty new half-timbered apartments.
