The "Maison de la nature" is an ideal starting point for exploring the "Étang du Méjean" nature reserve. Here you can discover a truly diverse range of flora and fauna and follow marked hiking trails between salt marshes and reed beds. Even storks, which in France are actually more associated with Alsace, have found their way here.

Mountain biking
Located 8km from Montpellier in the heart of a region rich in natural surroundings, this natural site stretches along the edge of the Méjean pond. It was protected in 1985 thanks to the Conservatoire du Littoral and the town of Lattes which manages it. Starting point for many walks or mountain biking to discover this exceptional site!
