Only rarely does a hiker lose his way to the Judenkirche, which is now once again clear of trees, although it is certainly worth the trip here.
The imposing Felstor has a width of about 15 meters, a height of about 5 meters and a thickness of 1 to 2 meters. The view through the gate offers today again an excellent view of Oberstdorf and its mountains.
In June 2007, the county environmental committee designated the rock formation as a natural monument, and in 2008 felled the trees that obscured the view of Oberstdorf! From the roof of the arch (although it is closed, but no challenge for vertigo-free and sure-footed climbers) offers an even more beautiful view of the Oberstdorf valley basin and its mountains.
