From here you can climb the mountain up to 2600 meters by train. You can then climb the Ankogel from the mountain station, for example. The train is even free with the Kärnten Card

With the Ankogelbahnen in Mallnitz you come over two stages to the new Hanover House, a mountain hut at the foot of the Ankogel. With the cable car you can shorten the tour on the Ankogel for a not too long day trip.
