The Hannoverhaus is a refuge run by the German Alpine Club in the Ankogel group in the Hohe Tauern. The mountain hut is located at an altitude of 2,565 meters at the foot of the Ankogel and was newly built in 2012.

A fine location with perfect views of the Ankogel, the Hochalmspitz and the Säuleck. The new hut owner (as of 2020) tries hard and also takes time for a little chat. We Hanoverians liked it here.
