I recommend the hike from the waterfront in Cala Ratjada on the Cala Gat to the lighthouse. Somewhat arduous, but you will be rewarded me wonderful views!

From Cala Rajada to the lighthouse it is also a nice little tour. Also back, there are always different perspectives that have their own beauty.

The Capdepera lighthouse, in Mallorca, together with the Artrutx Lighthouse on the coast of Menorca, marks the channel that separates the two islands at its narrowest point. The optical-luminous installation for white light with red flashes every two minutes and the lantern was supplied by the French house Sautter; the light source being constituted by a Legrand olive oil lamp, until, in 1960, electrification began through a medium voltage line to connect it with Cala Ratjada and with two generators.

The lighthouse itself is fenced, but you can on foot, by bike or even by car to the tower. Spectacular views, surrounded by rocks and small woods with several hiking trails

We climbed over the country roads of Cala Rajada. The descent then along the rocks. Highly recommended.
