Heavy cast iron signs of the cross lead to the chapel of the cross. A beautiful hiking trail, only for pedestrians, because the path behind the Chapel of the Cross is impassable for bicycles. Hiking

At the beginning of the Way of the Cross in Urtlgraben, the path goes up a little steeply. It is not possible to use it with a stroller or wheelchair without assistance. You walk through a dense beech forest. You can enjoy the Way of the Cross in peace under the shady canopy of leaves. A bench at the side of the path invites you to linger. Dogs must be kept on a leash, as from here on you may encounter wild animals!
