Sauer River Near Edingen

The Sauer cycle path runs partly on a former railway line and along the river Sauer. This bike tour combines dreamy vineyard landscapes and picturesque places in the Luxembourg region. Interesting: Around 200 meters of the Sauer cycle path between Metzdorf and Wintersdorf is "elevated" to protect the valuable wetland. The 336 meter drive through the illuminated Ralingen Tunnel is also impressive, the varied nature is worth experiencing, Bollendorf Castle, built in 1619 - once the summer residence of the former Echternach Abbey.
A change of sides during the bike tour - whether on this or on the other side of the Sauer - is possible at almost any time via the many bridges.
