Between the two massive tree trunks that frame the crucifix standing at the side of the path at a very close distance, the small sacred monument seems extremely cramped at this point. Perhaps a Bible-loving hiker might interpret this as representing the two massive tree trunks to the right and left of the cross, representing the two criminals executed with Jesus, who, with the full weight of their sins, threaten to constrain the Savior. Yet the good news of Christianity is this: the Son of God, who died on the cross and became man, was raised by the Father in heaven.
