Westerdeichstrich is a beautiful resort north of Büsum, directly on the North Sea coast and the unique "Wadden Sea National Park". Westerdeichstrich was first mentioned in a document in 1824. The landmark is the "Margaretha" windmill, which is now a hotel. Village has about 900 inhabitants and has many good and inexpensive restaurants and three large campsites, z. T. right on the beach.
