A popular resting place for hikers and cyclists right on the Quincunx hiking trail, which connects five parts of Bebra. The plan is to upgrade the Molkenborn facility on the outskirts of Braunhausen in the next few years. A water treading basin set in natural stone, a pond with a pier and a wooden pavilion are to be created. Hopefully it works.

The Braunhäuser Molkenborn facility is a place of tranquillity. A rest area directly on the Quincunx hiking trail, which connects five districts of Bebra. Now the green spot on the outskirts is to be extensively upgraded: with a water treading pool framed in natural stone and a large artificial pond complete with footbridge, terrace and wooden pavilion. (excerpt HNA from 09/25/2019)
There is currently a charming, small water facility here, which has been signposted with a wooden border and a larger wooden plaque with an inscription.
Now already a nice, shady place for a break in summer.
From here there are many varied hiking opportunities in the nearer region (hiking map about 200m away in the direction of the town center).
