The city's landmark and one of the most popular photo opportunities. The amazement is great when the imposing swing bridge slowly opens for large ships - a great picture! The arrival parade of the Wilhelmshaven Sailing-CUP with the large traditional sailing ships is particularly impressive - this spectacle lasts one hour. With a span of 159 meters and 440 tons of steel, it is Germany's largest swing bridge. When it was still operated manually, it took six men to open the bridge. It is also popularly known as the "K-W Bridge".

The Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke in Wilhelmshaven is an axially symmetrical, two-wing street swing bridge made of riveted steel framework. It is the landmark of the city of Wilhelmshaven. It is particularly impressive when the bridge opens and a boat drives through it. You also have a good view of the Naval Museum from above.
