Tips
In 2018, the three ponds of Schalbroek were fished. The carp, eels, etc. were moved to Zutendaal and the ancient fish ponds were redesigned together with the pond on the Kleen Meulen. Together with the surrounding area, they form the Lummensbroek nature reserve that connects to the Schulensbroek (both separated by the railway line).
