Markus Tunnel

Beautiful view of the Dobratsch. There are sun loungers in good condition (02/2022) and you can also relax there in winter (when there isn't too much snow). Thermal pads for the loungers are available in a metal box on the St. Mark's Gallery. The tunnel is not open to the public.

Markus-StollenViewpoint · Villach - Faaker See - Ossiacher See · 1,060 mThe "Markus-Stollen" is a 400-year-old tunnel that is located directly on hiking trail 15 along a 1.5-hour circular hiking trail that starts at the spa center. A viewpoint for sunbathing and relaxing is located directly in front of the tunnel and offers a wonderful view of the Dobratsch, the Bleiberger Valley and partly of the Karawanks.
