At 788.2 m, the Amalienhöhe is the highest point in Heiligenberg and offers a wonderful panoramic view. The linden group with its benches is a popular destination for walks.Eduard Berenbach wrote in 1935 in his booklet "Heiligenberg at Lake Constance" on Amalienhöhe: The Amalienhöhe is characterized by a group of seven shady linden trees, which were created in 1843 on the occasion of the silver wedding of the then royal couple (Karl Egon II and Amalie, née Princess von Baden) were planted according to the number of children of the jubilee couple.
