The first plaque is dedicated to the memory of Janina Englert (1903-2007) - the legendary Prague librarian, the first director of the network of Prague libraries, a girl scout, a soldier of the Home Army and a participant in the Warsaw Uprising. Before the war, in a building at ul. Wileńska 13, ran a science reading room. Risking a lot, she created an underground library during the underground. She managed to keep over two thousand books and volumes that were to be requisitioned. Among them were books, old prints often 18th and 19th century. During the uprising, her apartment at Floriańska 12 served as a help point for Home Army soldiers. After the war, she lived in this place for many years and organized a network of libraries in Prague, promoting reading.

The second plaque commemorates the names of two liaison officers, who on August 2, 1944 set off with reports from 12 Floriańska Street and were immediately hit by a German sniper. One of them, 19-year-old Zenia Olejnik, died on the spot, the other, 23-year-old Zofia Brzostowska, was seriously injured and lost her leg.

In Warsaw's Praga Północ district, near the cathedral, on Floriańska Street, there are two plaques commemorating participants of the Warsaw Uprising. One of them is dedicated to Janina Englert – a scout, Home Army soldier and the first director of the library network in Praga, whose apartment housed a help point for Home Army soldiers during the Uprising. The second plaque commemorates Zofia Brzostowska and Zenia Olejnik – liaison officers who set off from this point on August 2, 1944. Olejnik was killed by a shot from a German sniper, and Brzostowska was seriously wounded.

The plaque unveiled in 2017 commemorates Janina Englert, a pre-war librarian who created a network of libraries in Praga Północ. Before the war, she ran the Scientific Reading Room No. 1 at Wileńska 13. She ran a clandestine aid point for Home Army soldiers in her apartment. She was a Home Army soldier under the pseudonym Klima.
