The lower part of the building consists of a 40 cm thick quarry stone wall. The overshot wooden mill wheel has a diameter of 5 m and is driven by the water from the reservoir above, the so-called "swan pond".
In 1984 a mill made of seasoned oak with stick and comb wheels was reinstalled, just as the old mill construction technology provided. The restored interior of the watermill has been open to visitors since 1985. "
