From the road you can see the inlets of two tunnels under Świerkowa Kopa. They belong to one of the longest tunnels in Poland. One is 1171m long and the other 1168m long, 4.8m wide and 5.8m high. The first tunnel was bored in 1876-1879. The second parallel one was drilled in 1909-1911.

In February 1945, a medical train heading for Wałbrzych with injured people and medical staff crashed in the tunnel under Świerkowa Kopa. Due to the large slope of the track, the composition with an amazing momentum was retreating towards Kłodzko. At the Ludwikowice Kłodzkie station, he was directed to a side track rising up the hill. It was expected that the train would slow down going up the hill. However, the stop-goat could not withstand the impact and the composition with people at the height of the Orkany settlement fell down, igniting. Official data about this accident were not given, probably many were killed.

On the left side of road 381, an observation tower is visible on Włodzicka Góra. This tower can only be seen from the viaduct over the tracks due to the large afforestation of the mountain.
