I especially recommend the climb to the Sainte-Croix chapel which is worthy of the Geraardsbergen Wall

Moulin banal :
The presence of this watermill dates back to 1226. Half of it belonged to the lord and chapter of Sainte-Waudru in Mons.
Under the Ancien Régime, the farmers of Braine-le-Château and Haut-Ittre were obliged to come and grind their grain there, paying a "banality" to the lord of the place.
Depending on the castle, it still belongs to Count Cornet de Ways Ruart, descendant of the family of the Counts of Robiano. The site has been classified since 1954 and the mill since 1970.
