  • According to stories, the chapel was built on the basis of a vow of the Kremnitzmüller, which had laid this during a snowstorm. It was built by the widow, Barbara Kremnitzmüller, and inaugurated by the pastor Wolfgang Förtsch on Trinity Sunday 1867.
    The chapel was considered a gem of the upper Franconian Forest.
