In the 18th century the Colckhof was a spieker (grain store) that also served as a country retreat for the owner. In addition to agriculture and livestock farming, the estate was then largely used as a coppice plantation.
On the estate you can also see the porter's house, a farm workers' house and an old grape greenhouse. At the end of the 20th century, the canals of the Colckhof and the Den Alerdinck estate were connected.
