Very impressive story! After a strong thunderstorm, a massive landslide, 200 meters wide, occurred and buried almost an entire family. The only survivor was a son who - as was common in families at the time - chose the spiritual profession and was already a priest. Later in his life, he donated this chapel and lived nearby for years - and preached in the chapel. An illustrated documentation of the disaster is available in the chapel.
