A branch church of Landsberg was first mentioned in Gollma in 1257. In 1471, this Romanesque church was expanded to include a polygonal chancel, which still exists today in a modified form. In 1734 the church burned down to the foundations. 1737-41 followed a new construction of the nave and tower in the baroque style, the old choir was integrated into this building. A double-storey patron's box was added to the north side. The interior was also redesigned in the baroque style. In 1897 five new glass windows were installed in the sanctuary, and in the 1930s the gallery fields received new decorative cartouches with quotations from the Bible in Gothic script. The interior was extensively renovated between 1998 and 2002, and the choir windows were repaired in 2012. Around 2016, a winter church was set up on the upper floor of the patronage box. In 2021, comprehensive woodworm control was carried out inside.Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorfkirche_Gollma
