This museum, which is probably unique in Germany, shows in a detailed and humorous way the arduous washing day in grandma's time, which was characterized by hard physical work. The oldest of the more than 5,000 exhibits date from the 17th century, but most of them come from the time of our grandparents. From the small bar of soap to the cold deficiency weighing several tons, a vivid picture of the development of everyday housewives is conveyed.
