The water tower in Kirchberg stands out strikingly from the landscape. Opened in 1900, it was the city's only water supply system until 1975.

The 36 meter high Kirchberg water tower was put into operation on August 1, 1900. Due to the construction of a pressure boosting system, the tower became superfluous for the city in 2000 and was then sold to private hands.
Today the tower houses a post office - matching the color.The unmistakable tower can be seen from afar and is the symbol of the city with the two church towers.Read more:

Kirchberg has a beautiful town center, on the edge of which is the water tower that can be seen from afar. Benches and parking facilities are located below the tower.
