The water in Schnelsen was newly created on behalf of the city of Hamburg. The Schnelsener Moorgraben has been dredged and a facility created that consists of three ponds (RHB). The ponds are connected by small streams. The big one is called RHB Schnelsener Moor, the middle pond is called RHB Finkenstiegteich and the small one is called Moorflageneich. All three ponds can be fished.
