The animal park Alsdorfer Weiher is located in the middle of the recreation area Broichbachtal. On an area of more than 20 ha approx. 300 animals live in 30 animal species. The entire area of the zoo and the adjoining recreational area, including the waters, extend over an area of more than 30 ha. The huge nature reserve, which is particularly suitable for relaxing walks, is not included.
