Tips
The former Cistercian monastery Gnadenthal is now a center of the Ecumenical Community Jesus Brotherhood. There are two seminar and guest houses, an ecological farm and a monastery shop with a café.

Gnadenthal is managed by the Jesus Brotherhood community. The former monastery was abandoned after the 30 Years' War. It was then used as a farm and was acquired by the brotherhood in 1969. From 1984 onwards the historic buildings were repaired or rebuilt. The ensemble is a listed building and even enjoys special protection in the event of war according to the Hague Conventions. There is a kind of cafe, a bookstore with a gallery and guest houses on the site.
