The parish church of St. Magnus was built around 1185 as a late Romanesque pillar basilica and was constantly adapted to the stylistic eras of the centuries and later converted to Baroque style. Georg Anton Machein developed and realized a magnificent and impressively carved choir stall in 1717.
Art-historically valuable objects from the monastery period, created between 1183 and 1803, are mainly located in the monastery museum.
