Famous wine region in Lanzarote. The small grapevines are planted in funnel-shaped depressions in the lava layer. In addition to the deepening, semicircular walls made of basaltic lava rocks often protect the individually growing vines from the sometimes strong winds. The Museum of Modern Art in New York declared this wine-growing region a total work of art. There are several wineries in this area that invite you to wine tasting. The oldest winery in the Canary Islands, El Grifo, is also in this area. The Museo del Vino (wine museum) is attached to the bodega.
