Signage is ambivalent. From the bottom (east side) is an ANWB mushroom with a direction indication Amerongen. This implies that you can cycle there. From the top (top of Amerongse berg) it is indicated twice that cycling is not allowed. So I always drive it from the bottom…

Climbing Amerongse Berg, this part is specifically called Prinsenveld. In the middle of the Amerongse forests, arbitrary whether you can cycle here freely. Coarse gravel, standing on the pedals can shoot your wheel off. Caution is required on the descent.

This is an epic alternative for the asphalt climb of the Amerongse Climb. In normal conditions perfectly doable with 25mm (especially the ascent)

Very cool gravel climb that gets steeper. In the summer it can be quite loose. But well worth it!
