Really nice tour, the castle is very spectacular. In the beginning, it is better to go on the cart path, because the nettle reaches the neck of the tourist route. The end of the tour in the Cuha Valley can also be done by train, but inquire about the schedule in advance!

The medieval castle of Csesznek was built in 1263 by Baron Jakab Cseszneky, who was King Béla IV's sword bearer. He and his descendants were named after the Cseszneky Castle.
