Parco dei Mulini (Mill Park) and Waterfalls of Borgnone

Just above the town of Borgnone at the beginning of the "market path", the mule track that once led to the Locarno market and was an important connection between the Locarno area and the Vigezzo Valley. There are interesting testimonies of the rural world including the ruins of some mills and a bread oven (1884).

The park, which can be reached in about twenty minutes on foot from Camedo, was inaugurated in 2002 after a series of restoration works on the artisanal structures of the area. A lot of things are a bit overgrown, but it's still worth investing some time and studying the buildings and ruins.
