The mill park is located above the village of Borgnone, in the locality of Lionza, at the beginning of the "market path", the mule track that once led to the Locarno market and was an important connecting route between the Locarno area, the Centovalli, the Vigezzo valley and the Simplon was.
The park, which can be reached in about twenty minutes on foot from Camedo, was inaugurated in 2002 after a series of restoration works on the artisanal structures of the area.
