The Auguet Bridge was built in 1836 and stood at Hunziken until 1974, as a connection between Rubigen and Belp. A newly built concrete bridge made the covered wooden bridge superfluous. But where
with the historical building? The solution was offered at this location, as a connection between Muri and Belp. The former Hunziken Bridge became the popular Auguet Bridge.

It is the old Hunziken Bridge, which was dismantled down the Aare and rebuilt here when the new road bridge between Belp and Rubigen was built.
