Tips
At the very end of the wind farm and just before the border to the nature reserve is this very well-preserved high bunker from the time when this area was still a military training area. The area was used for military exercises even before the First World War and was expanded over the decades.
Today the wind farm is located in a smaller area, the rest of the Heidehof-Golmberg is a nature reserve. Parts of the site may be entered at your own risk, some not. There is still a lot of old ammunition lying around.translated by
