The Emscherquellhof is a half-timbered farm complex in the area of Holzwickede east of Dortmund. The farmhouse, built in 1801, consists of the main building, a converted stable building and a detached former bakery. In the courtyard of the half-timbered estate lies in an enclosed pond, the source area of the Emscher. The inflow to the spring pond takes place underground from the direction of the main building.
Until 2003, the farm was privately owned and operated as a horse farm. In 2004, the Quellhof became the property of the Emschergenossenschaft in Essen. Until the end of 2005, the restoration and conversion of the buildings into their original state took place for several million euros according to monument preservation principles.
