Built in 1811, it now (again) has a historicist look, specifically neo-Gothic.
The Protestant parish of Freiburg im Breisgau donated the altar of the church of the secularized Freiburg Augustinian Canons' Monastery of All Saints as the high altar. The two side altars were also secularized property. They came from the Cistercian monastery of Günterstal.
