On the mountain is the worth seeing Kostanjevica Monastery.

Wonderful tour through the really worth seeing Vipava valley to Stanjel with its great old town. It is mostly on paved farm roads, with almost no traffic. At the end you meet Stanjel and you should definitely take time to visit the old town.
